Regional Summit, Moving Ahead Togetherkrp nov 15
Kneehill Regional Partnership continues to celebrate its successes.
On November 9, 2015, Councils and Administration from Acme, Carbon, Linden, Kneehill County, Three Hills and Trochu attended the KRP Summit held in Acme.
Community Highlight Showcases took up much of the morning, and was a great way to recognize accomplishments in the area. Topics for the rest of the day included on-going initiatives such as shared services, regional doctor recruitment, inter-municipal development plans, and regional grant writer.
New initiatives were discussed including a regional communications strategy.

Kneehill Regional Partnership Meets to Discuss Economic Development

On Monday, April 20, 2015, elected officials and CAOs from the municipalities of Carbon, Acme, Linden, Trochu, Three Hills and Kneehill County participated in a day long workshop on Economic Development.

The day was facilitated by the Economic Developers of Alberta and provided attendees with strategies, tools, resources and experiences to help communities survive, thrive and grow.  This was held in conjunction with the partnerships annual meeting to discuss initiatives of regional cooperation and future projects of mutual interest and benefit within our region. 

Our elected officials have met annually for the past ten years and have been successful at spearheading regional initiatives such as the Doctor Recruitment and Retention Committee, shared Grant Writer position, and various service contracts of mutual benefit.
