Pesticide & Livestock Medication Collection

Cleanfa2020-CF-Unwanted-Pesticides-Animal-Meds-Web-Capsule-800x800px Opens in new windowrms is collecting unwanted commercial agricultural pesticides & old livestock/equine medications in Alberta this fall.

The program is offered free of charge: the crop protection industry, in partnership with the Canadian Animal Health Institute (CAHI) covers the full cost of operations.

Collection events typically take place over a specific day in a particular location. This year, they are hosting events in 20 locations south of Red Deer from October 25, to October 29.

Farmers who have material for disposal should safely store the products on-farm until the scheduled collection date.
