Kneehill County's COVID-19 Response

On March 13, the Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) was activated for Kneehill County. County staff continue to implement measures as advised by the province and Alberta Health Services to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

Kneehill County has implemented Business Continuity processes and protocols to maintain all essential services during this time. While Kneehill County is working to maintain all of our services, residents may experience service level disruptions, changes in the delivery of certain services, and meeting and event cancellations as a result of the virus and the developing situation. Essential services, such as road, water, and fire services, will not be disrupted.

Kneehill County is carefully monitoring the COVID-19 health risk for any new developments and will follow public health restrictions for mass gatherings, recommendations for social distancing, and other safety protocols in accordance with Alberta Health Services’ (AHS) and the Government of Alberta’s public health actions.
