Potable water is available for residents at the Kneehill County Office (1600 2nd Street NE) until 8 PM tonight (April 28). The water truck will NOT be available tomorrow (April 29).

Water is slowly being restored to Mount Vernon and Equity Water Service areas. Kneehill County crews have started pressuring up the system, and will commence with flushing soon afterwards.
Though the water is flowing, it is NOT yet safe to drink. A boil water advisory is in effect for Mount Vernon and Equity water system areas.

The Town of Three Hills have completed temporary repairs to their water main and are beginning to implement the processes required for system restoration.
Water restoration to Mount Vernon and Equity is a part of the process being implemented. Once Kneehill County is in a position to re-pressurize and flush waterlines we will begin that part of the process, however, water service to Mount Vernon and Equity will not be restored until that time.
Once water service is restored, a boil water advisory is in IMMEDIATE effect for Mount Vernon and Equity Water Service Areas.
Potable water remains available for residents at the Town of Three Hills Office (232 Main street, Three Hills.) Please bring your own water container to fill up.
(Only the Mount Vernon and Equity WSA are under the Boil Water Advisory. All other Kneehill County Water Systems were unaffected by the disruption and the water remains safe to drink.)

The Town of Three Hills has secured parts for a temporary fix. The parts are on their way and should arrive overnight. Once the parts arrive Town crews will begin temporary repairs.
Potable water is available for residents at the Town of Three Hills Office (232 Main St, Three Hills) until 11:00 PM. Please bring your own water containers to fill up.

The Town of Three Hills is experiencing a critical water disruption that is impacting water service to Kneehill County users in the Mount Vernon and Equity Water Service Area.
Due to the disruption, the Trochu Bulk fill station is closed until further notice.
Utility crews are assessing the situation and we will provide further updates once they are available.
