Looking for ideas on what to plant this spring in your flower bed, or perhaps you want to try a garden for the first time? Renae Franche at Renae’s Greenhouse will be more than willing to help! Conveniently located just east of Linden on Township Road 304 on the north side of the road, one comes to a beautiful yard and the location of Renae’s Greenhouse. Renae’s Greenhouse has been in operation for the past three and a half years.
What will you find within the greenhouse? A nursery full of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, garden items, planters, seeds, and various herb and vegetable plants…to list just a few! Renae prides herself on constantly being willing to learn, whether it be about growing or the importance of fertilizer. She loves the creative side of gardening and always likes to introduce different plants and planters to go with different décor.
Since opening, Renae has tried to include something different every year to add to her customers’ experience. She has started to think about a Community Garden, or as she would like to call it a “Vegetable Park” and would love your ideas. Entering her “Vegetable Park” means going through an eight-foot round Moon Gate, soon to be covered with willow branches. As you walk along the wooden pathways (no walking in mud), you will walk under vine-covered arches, a wash station, and a rest area with a bench.
When asked what else Renae would like people to know about her business, she answers “We’re Always Growing!”.
Renae’s Greenhouse opens on May 1 and closes when all plants are sold.
Kneehill County is proud to spotlight Renae’s Greenhouse; make sure you stop by and take time to enjoy spring.
